The South Country Slide-In in Cardston, Alberta, was the first major futurity for the Beckley barn. With 30 entries in the futurity Jesse had two entries going into Saturday's event. Running pattern 5 Jesse and There In Bueno Time (Bueno Chexinic x There In A Minute) took the lead early on which held all the way to the end and were named the 2009 Open Futurity Champions!
Jesse's other entry BL Whizmaster, owned by Rhonda & Gib Thompson was having a great run until an unfortunate slip cost him a paycheque.
